Help Support the Next Generation of Global Ambassadors!

Hey There!

I’m Tai—a career educator, travel enthusiast, and mentor for Escape the Shape (ETS). The name serves as a reminder that the world is bigger than the DMV area. This mission resonates with me, and I’m excited to support ETS again as we create life-changing opportunities for our scholars.

This year, we’re raising funds for an incredible journey to Senegal in the summer of 2025. Last year, thanks to generous contributions, we successfully funded our inaugural trip to Costa Rica, where scholars explored the rainforest, studied coffee fields, and gave back through community service at a local school. It was truly transformative—and now, we’re ready to expand those horizons even further!

Escape the Shape (ETS) is a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring BIPOC male students in Washington, DC, with a mission to create Global Ambassadors. Through experiential learning, social and emotional mentorship, and travel-based service-learning, ETS empowers young men to grow, connect, and dream beyond their immediate surroundings.

This year, your donation will help provide:

  1. ✅ A full year of mentorship for one young man
  2. ✅ A fully funded international trip to Senegal, where scholars will engage in cultural exchange, service projects, and meaningful global learning.

Every contribution, big or small, helps change a life. Please consider donating and sharing this link with your network to support this transformative cause. Together, we can create opportunities that inspire, educate, and uplift the next generation of leaders.

Thank you for making a difference! 🌍✨
